Great news from the Gold Coast where the Australian Open is being played – Laureen Smith made it into the last 4 of the Women’s Singles.

Laureen was beaten in the semi final by Tiffany Brodie of St. Kilda.  A very good achievement Laureen.

Wednesday, 12th June – bowls was cancelled due to wet weather.  Sign up for next Wednesday as the jackpot of $136 was not claimed.

Sunday, 16th June – after early showers the sun came out as did 18 bowlers.

Winners were Ian Cumming (S), Betty Richmond (2) and Noel Atkins (L).

Runners up were Daryl Richmond (S), Shirley Potter (2) and Hans Lang (L).
