YMGCR BOWLS CLUB

Wednesday social bowls had a very good field of 24.  There were 3 two game winners.  Getting the big bucks with a very impressive score of +35 were Greg Green and the “Pineapple Kid ” Terry Baxter. (Just for the record “Pineapple” has not been bowling too well lately, so we hope this will give him some encouragement).  Runners up with another good score of +19 were Doddy Dodman and little Susie Evans and third went to Pam Dodman and Shan Klodinski with a +2.

Friday bowls had a field of 24 and the winners for the day were Les Wilson and a new up and comer in Ian Febey.  Runners up (lucky losers) were Les Spencer and Andy Lefevre.

Ladies and Men’s Match Committees have put up lists for upcoming championships:- singles, pairs, mixed pairs, 21 up and 100 up.

Also, there are lists for our practice matches between Benalla and Cobram.  Please put your name down so we can get an idea of how many players we take.  The season is coming up fast and we still need players names down for both Weekend and Midweek teams.  The selectors want to start looking at how many teams we will be entering in the upcoming season.
