YMGCR BOWLS CLUB

Wednesday Social bowls had a field of 20 players.  The winners were 2 visitors, P Connolly and C Beck with 2 wins and +7.  Runners up with a win and a draw were Robert Lidgerwood and Doug McTier.  The 2 winners then got the bonus of winning the jackpot.  The lucky number was won by Noel Millar.

Friday Social had a field of 32 players and getting the chocolates were Andy Lefevre and Greg Green.  Second went to Norm Windebank and Barb Tennyson and third to Ian Morffew and Bob Brokenshire.

On Thursday, Anne Miles, Laureen Smith and Claire Sanders joined Kylie Whitehead (Wodonga) to win the Victorian Ladies State 4’s Championship.  This is the 3rd time they have won this title and now will go on to represent Victoria in Perth in October (which they have won once before) ……well done girls.
