Friday Social Bowls.

A strong field of 32 players played across both the west and east greens on Friday the 28th of July. Earlier in the day weather conditions suggested that we wouldn’t get a game in with an early morning downpour greeting early risers. The greens ran surprisingly well considering the morning rain. Winners on the day were the team of Greg Green and Ray Brown, who replayed their Bernborough come from behind win of last Friday. Runners up were the pairing of Mick Reilly and Mick Crawford. The loser’s consolation prize went to the combo of Phil Pettit and Tom Wilson. A special word of thanks to players from Club Mulwala who tuned out in force, we hope you enjoyed the day. Players from Tungamah and Yarrawonga bowls also participated. We would encourage YMGCR bowlers to support social bowls at our neighbouring clubs as our neighbouring clubs support YMGCR social bowls. Till next week, good bowling.
