Leading the charge were the rink of Chris Horne (L), Rob Martin (2), Garry Hart (3) and Doddy Dodman (S) who won convincingly against the Mansfield combo of Gary Fuller, Nick Klein, Kevin Nikkleson and Alan Dodson 35 shots to 16. Also making a vital contribution to the win were the rink of Barb Tennyson (L), Cliff Morton (2), Liliana Borwick (3) and Ron Lamson (S) who brought to heel the Mansfield rink of Doug Morley, Don Cameron, Irene Fuller and Mick Walsh 28 shots to 14 shots.

Our B2 side went down in the local derby against Club Mulwala. YMGCR 42 shots and 0 points, Club Mulwala 62 shots and 14 points.
