Bloke’s Day on Oaks Day Report.
Oaks Day saw the now traditional Bloke’s Day on Oaks Tournament fund raiser for prostate cancer research held at the golf club. This was probably the best Bloke’s Day Tournament to date, and with fine weather coming to the party, it was a day to remember. Tournament winners were the team of Andy and James Lefever and Troy Williams. Runners up was the combo of Rob Hummel, Les Wilson and Bruce Davie. Third place was shared by Colin Withers, Greg Green and Ian Brinblecombe. Great days such as this one, don’t happen by accident, and those ensuring that the day was a runaway success were those YMGCR members who gave so selflessly of their time.
