Thursday Social Bowls Report.
A lighter than usual muster last Thursday saw 24 bowlers turn out for the weekly game of three bowl nominated pairs. Conditions were fine and warm, and the greens were running well, as has been the norm over the last number of weeks. Sharing first prize of $70.00 and a drink card each were Bruce Davie and a visiting player, Ross Stevenson. The winners’ runners up prize of $50.00 went to the team of Barb Tennyson and Mick Reilly. The losing rink consolation prize of $20.00 was shared by the paring of Fred Donaldson and Noel Millar. The first Lucky Number Raffle Prize of $15.00 was won by Sue Beca and the second Lucky Number prize of $10.00 was claimed by Bruce Davie. We would remind all bowlers, in the Yarrawonga / Mulwala area, single entries, and visitors form further afield that Thursday Social at YMGCR is played on the best greens in the region and offers terrific prize money, so why not place your names on the Thursday Social entry sheets at the bowls office. Visitors and single entries please include a contact telephone number when you add your names to the list.
