Uniform General Meeting 

A reminder to all members that the meeting will be held on Monday, March 25th at 7.00pm. A vote will be taken on the night after presentations from the Uniform Committee. All members are able to a vote on this decision.

Belmont Visit

Bowlers are needed on Tuesday, April 9th for a Social match with Belmont Bowls Club who will be visiting our Club on that day. Please put your name on the list if you are available to play. We are expecting about 36 Belmont bowlers.

Green Day

A host of Irish leprechauns and lassies gathered at Kurt and Marj Bleckwehl’s waterfront home last Sunday for the Green Day celebration. The weather was kind, the food extraordinary, and the entertainment, led by the rebel Scotsman Danny McNeill, kept everyone happy and busy. There was even a visit from 3 performers, who each showed their talents. Thank you Danny, Celia, and Bob … wonderful.

The best dressed competition proved to be a hard job for the judge, but the winners were Judy Wenzel for the ladies, and Siggi Rempel for the men.

Bocce Final winners were Linda, Terry, Jill and Celia.

The hero of the day was our Gary Hart who insisted on retrieving the Bocce balls from the lake. One way of keeping cool on a warm day, Gary!
