Weekly Report March 31

We have all had to fish out the jumpers and the long pants this week, but the greens continue to provide great bowling conditions. So why not put your name on the lists for the various games on offer.

Presentation Day

To be held on Sunday, April 7th at 1.00pm, it is an opportunity for club members to recognise the achievers of the Club events for this season. Afternoon tea will be served about 3.00pm, and the cost for the day is $5.00 per person. Club uniform, please.

Belmont Visit

Thank you to all those who have already put names in for the day. We are still looking for more bowlers to make up the numbers required as Belmont have large numbers attending. Bowls and lunch is $15.00.

New Uniform

At the Special General Meeting of the Bowls Section on March 25th, the members voted for their new uniform. The shirt decided upon (with a few minor changes) is on display at the Club. Sizing samples for trying and ordering will be available in the near future.

All Round Champ

Not only is Sue Evans a great Club person and bowler, but she can now boast having her first hole in one for golf. Some people are just good at everything, aren’t they! Congratulations, Sue.
