Men’s 21 Up … The finalists of the Men’s 21 Up are Garry Sanders and Don Ellis.
Ladies Pairs …The Semi-final match between Caroline Reilly/Kim Johnston and Marie Morffew/Betty Richmond was another high standard match. Eventual winners, after an extra end to break the draw, were Caroline and Kim. They will play off against Anne Miles and Claire Sanders on a date to be set.
Men’s Pairs … The first two rounds of this event were held on Sunday, February 9th. After two rounds of fiercely contested play, the Semi-finalists are S Gann/D Wheeler who play J Mc Gough/ N Windebank, and A Le Fevre/J Le Fevre against G Green/I Morffew.
Ladies B Grade Championship … will commence on Thursday, February 27th. Closing date for entries is 1.00pm on Wednesday, February 26th.
Mixed Pairs … will commence on Sunday, February 23rd. Closing date for entries is Friday, February 21st
Ovens and Murray Men’s Over 60’s Pairs
This event was postponed due to extreme weather conditions, and will be finalised on Thursday, February 13th at YMGCR.

Ovens and Murray Ladies Triples … Our Caroline Reilly teamed with Kylie Whitehead and Mary Tragardh to win the Final of this event. Two of the Runners-up team also included YMGCR bowlers … Sue Middleton and Shirley Hummel. Great bowling from you all.
Ladies Champion of Champions … Our representative in this event, Anne Miles, made it through to the Semi-final round. Unfortunately Anne was defeated by Peta Mattys from Wangaratta.
Barefoot Bowls
On Tuesday, February 4th, over 100 bowlers competed in ideal conditions.
Rink winners were … Fallons Bruisers, Insiders, Misfits, Greenkeepers, Limestone Jacks, Rotary Rollers, Rancho Relaxo, FWW, Fish Finders, Blues, and Royal Palms. There was also a draw between MWA24 and Kangas.
