YMGCR BOWLS CLUB

On a beautiful Wednesday we had 20 players take to our fantastic greens and we had 3 two game winners.  The unlucky team of Tony Durkin and Shan Klodinsky had a +6 which wasn’t quite good enough.  2nd went to Ian Price and Neville Coleman with +9 and with a great score of +24 were the in form Les Wilson and a visitor from Mt Martha in Wayne Taylor (played very well).  Jackpot failed to go off.  Lucky number was won by Pam Dodman.

Friday Social had another good field of 28.  The winners were Bob Evans and Bob Brokenshire, runners up were our visitors from Mt Martha (again) Wayne and Lynette Taylor and the consolation prize went to the Dodmans (Pam and Doddy).

This year we are going to bring back “BLOKES DAY”.  While the young ladies are enjoying “OAKS DAY” the boys will be playing 3 games of 2 bowls triples and having a BBQ.  All the proceeds will be going to the prostate cancer foundation.  So put your name down on the sheet and help this fantastic cause as there will be a limit of 28 teams.
