WEEKLY REPORT 18th October 2026.

YMGCR Bowls Club.
Thursday Social Bowls Report.
A light roster of 20 players enjoyed fine, yet cool conditions last Thursday the 15th of October. It was a pity there weren’t more players on hand to enjoy conditions on the east green, which ran well. The direction of play for the day was east – west.
The first placed team were Noel Smith and Doug McTier who shared $50.00 cash and a drink card each. Noel and Doug played Barb Tennyson and Chris Morrissy, yes, on that rink again; rink 13, which as we mentioned last week, has become the go to rink should you want your names drawn as the day’s winners.
The winning side second prize went to the team of Col Withers and Kevin Wallace, who played Ross Lloyd and Mick Reilly, on rink 10. Col and Kevin won $15.00 each.
The losing rink consolation prize of $10.00 was won by Barb Tennyson and Chris Morrissy who played Noel Smith and Doug McTier on rink 13.
The first Lucky Number raffle prize of $10.00 was won by Norm Moule and the second Lucky Number prize, also of $10.00 was won by Ross Lloyd.
