Thursday Social Bowls Report.
32 players participated in Social Bowls last Thursday the 8th of October The weather was fine and sunny with a top temperature of 22 degrees. Both greens were in play, and the orientation of games was east west. The greens were running freely; perhaps on the better side of 15 seconds.
The day’s first prize winners were the team of Sue Evans & Ray Brown, playing on… you guessed it rink 13, which along with rinks 10, 11 & 12 appear to be the rink numbers which fill the prize money spots each week. Well done to Sue and Ray, who won $70.00 and a drink card each. Sue and Ray’s opponents on the day were the two Karens – Karen Guymer and Karen Bianco.
The second winning rink prize was won by the combo of Judy Leeson and Laureen Smith, who played Greg Green and Peter Lidgerwood on rink 3. Judy and Lureen shared $40.00 prize money.
