YMGCR BOWLS CLUB

Wednesday Social bowls had a field of 24 and the only 2 game winners were Col Withers and Chris Horne (two old farmers that REALLY needed the cash).  The runners up had 10 teams with a win and a loss, and it came down to shots up with the lucky players being Pam Dodman and Bob Brokenshire with +7.

On Friday Social we had a fantastic field of 40 players and it was good to see both greens being used.  The winners were Peter Lidgerwood and Tony Durkin.  Runners up were two of our favourite girls who haven’t been bowling much this year in Marcia McGrillen and the “Smiling Assassin” Cecilia Milne.  Third went to Neville Coleman and Carolyn Boston.

Don’t forget that there will be a game on Good Friday starting at 12:30 (Nominated pairs).

Anne Miles played in the Victorian Open Mixed Pairs and finished 2nd in her section.  Garry and Claire Sanders also played and had a win, a draw and a loss.

Anne, Claire and a Northern Territory lass in Coleen Orr have advanced into the last 8 of the Ladies Triples.
