YMGCR Bowls Club.
Mid – Week Pennant Report.
A virus laid many of our players low last week, and the illness, with the lack of available players translated into an away loss to Corowa Civic, for the A1s. Not letting the sniffles affect their game were Laureen Smith (L), Ian Febey (2), Michael Vaughan (3), and Anne Miles (S), who won 26 shots to Corowa Civic 20 shots. The A1s are now in 3rd place on 32 points, with an 12 point gap to Wodonga, who are in 2nd place on 44 points. The A1s next essay is at the Golf Club where they take on Wangaratta.

Thursday Social Bowls.
There was no Thursday Social Bowls last week, due to the annual Bloke’s Day on Oaks Day Tournament. Thursday Social resumes this week. Strong player numbers each week are proof, if indeed proof is required that Thursday Social bowls is a format that proves popular with bowlers. $10.00 gets you into a game of three bowl nominated pairs played over 22 ends. There is the ever popular Lucky Number raffles, with entry at $1.00 per square. Single entries and visitors are always welcome. So, for a great day of bowls place your names on the entry sheets at the Bowls Office. Single entries and visitors please include a contact telephone number with your names.
