Wednesday Social Bowls Report.
After last week’s cancellation of Wednesday Social Bowls, due to the inclement weather, this week saw vastly improved weather conditions, which was reflected by the 40 players who turned out. Bowlers enjoyed greens which, given our cool and damp weather over the last fortnight, weren’t running too badly. Play was in the north south orientation over both greens. First prize winners were the team of Neville Coleman and Craig Jordan, who shared $90.00 and a drink card each. Neville and Craig played on rink 4, where their opponents were Fred Donaldson and Noel Millar. The runners up prize of $50.00 was won by Lynne Baxter and Ray Brown who played against Laureen Smith and Vin Slattery on rink 13. The losing rink consolation prize of $20.00 was won by Merv Hannaford and Glenn Doyle, who played Julian Jones and Greg Green on rink 14, affectionately, or otherwise known as Siberia. The first Lucky Number prize of $25.00 was won by Dave Charrington and the second Lucky Number prize of $10.00 was won by Merv Hannaford.
Friday Social Bowls Report.

The winning rink runners up prize of $50.00 was won by Les Wilson and Greg Fisher, who played Ian Price and Doddy Dodman on rink 13.
