YMCGR BOWLS CLUB
Wednesday Social Bowls.
Now that the pennant season is behind us, if you are looking for a game of bowls on a Wednesday afternoon, why not come along for the weekly game of Social Bowls held every Wednesday afternoon, the cost is $10.00 per player, and in these days of increased cost of living this represents terrific value for money. The game commences at 12.30 pm the format is single entry pairs, usually played over 2 games of 12 ends. Good prize money for winners and runners up, and there is a chance to win either the Lucky Number prize or the Rolling Jackpot. Names to be placed on the entry sheets located at the Bowls Office. Friday Social Nominated Pairs.
The popular Friday Nominated Pairs commences on Friday the 15th of March. Friday Social was a roaring success last year, so why not make up a pair and place your names on the entry sheets at the Bowls Office. The game commences at 12.30 pm and the cost is $10.00 per player, which is great value. The format is one game of 18 ends 2 x 4 x 2. The prize money is really worthwhile and you don’t have to win by the length of the straight to win the big prize. Players from surrounding clubs are welcome, as are visitors to Yarrawonga / Mulwala. Tournaments at other clubs.
There are a number of flyers which we receive from surrounding clubs advertising Tournaments which they have on their upcoming calendars. One Tournament worth mentioning is the upcoming Tournament at Club Mulwala. The format is mixed triples and the money raised from the Tournament goes to Friends in Common, one of the really deserving charities that serves our local community.
